Not perfect, but worth it
The room was recently redecorated with a charming cabin feel making for a cozy stay. The nearby walking path was perfect for evening strolls.
Despite the pleasant decor, the bathroom could use a good cleaning, as there were some cleanliness issues that detracted from our overall comfort.

The location was comfortable, close to everything, convenient to go everywhere. Popped in Cheddar's Restaurant for shots before sleep, it was just a short walk away from the venue.

Rooms were great-sized and beautifully maintained!
We enjoyed rooms with a bathtub. Hair dryers and bath sheets were very handy. Its location was ideal, close enough to the outskirts of Bennigton, VT, Bennington for a family get together, and all tourist places.

Friendly staff created a warm atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the room had a mildew smell, made it hard to sleep, and the bathroom door did not close properly. There were several small repairs that needed attention, including lighting fixes.

The owner was very helpful with my 1am call because I was lost. Was not upset by it at all. I had put I was going to be checking in at that time. They seem very nice, trying to make a go out of an out of the way place.
The rugs were quite dirty and the twin bed had no blanket besides the thin bedspread. Luckily the heat was adjustable because it got cold.

Had a problem with the hot water in shower 1st morning. Mentioned it to staff. Was fixed immediately. Staff was very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone
Wish that the driveway lights and building lights stayed on later. Very easy to drive by motel at 11:30 pm because of no lighting

The redecoration gave our small room a cozy cabin feel, and the nearby walking path was a great perk. The outdated bathroom and noisy fridge were disappointing.

The staff was friendly on check in.
While the bathroom was very clean, the toilet didn't flush. We had to take the top off and do it manually. The room was terribly musty/moldy smelling. It was hard to breath in there. I actually considered going to sleep in the car! I had made the reservation for 3 adults. When I checked in, the slip had 2 adults noted on it, so I had the staff correct it. When our son arrived at 11:30 and pulled back the bedspread, we discovered that there was only a bottom sheet on his bed-- no top sheet, and no blanket. The lights were out in the office, so there was no one to call to ask for more, at that point. The sheets on the other bed were very old, albeit clean. The blanket on the other bed was a worn relic from the 60s. The pillows were probably 40 years old, too. The carpeting was dirty and old and musty. We couldn't wait to get out of there! To pay $123 for that room was ridiculous.

I had the distinct pleasure of dealing with a mildew smell, made sleeping impossible and a shower that was definitely not as freesh as it should've been, yet somehow i was overlooked for an upgrade, which woudl ve been nice. I almost thought of giving a good review, but alas, i just couldn't.

The walking path nearby was perfect for evening strolls with my small dog, and the room had a cozy vibe with its cute decor. The kids enjoyed the play area.
In my wife's opinion, improvements to bathroom fixtures would enhance our stay.
